The Lisbon Culture Bookstore has been opened in Rossio. A space entirely dedicated to municipal editions, with a catalog of over 1,600 titles available from poetry to photography, history to comics.
Located in a building of historical and literary value, the bookstore restores a space that has been neglected for years and returns it to the city with a new public and cultural program.
In addition to the sale of books, you will have regular programming with presentations, meetings and debates, reinforcing Lisbon’s role as a city of culture and readers.
While opening the Culture Bookstore Lisbon City Mayor Carlos Moedas said , We also announced the return of the Lisbon City Literary Prize, in 2026, with the categories of fiction, essay and poetry.
