The effects of Climate Change are becoming more and more visible. Many people in Bangladesh suffer from negative impacts. If it is river erosion, salinity, droughts or flooding, Climate Change is a huge threat to the population. The German Embassy gets the stories from the people in Bangladesh. On Friday, a film production team conducted interviews in the Korail Slum and Mohakhali to interview locals about their stories about climate change. All in all they will listen to people from different areas in Dhaka, where many people have migrated to, as Climate Change made life in their villages impossible. The outcome will be a documentary demonstrating the effects of Climate Change on the people’s life in Bangladesh will be produced. It will be launched at a photo exhibition that showcases the winner of a photo competition on Climate Change (link to competition) and can be seen from ….at the British Council.
