Afghanistan shows interest in importing quality products from Bangladesh including pharmaceuticals, readymade garments and other consumer goods.

The newly appointed Ambassador of Afghanistan to Bangladesh Abdul Qayoom Malikzad paid a courtesy call on the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, M.P. on Wednesday

The State Minister welcomed the new Ambassador and assured him of all kind of support to further enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.

They discussed the entire gamut of the bilateral relations built up on common history and traditional linkages of the two peoples, said the Foreign Ministry here.

The state Minister reiterated Bangladesh’s willingness to deepen bilateral ties with Afghanistan and its readiness to be a trusted development partner.

The new Ambassador emphasized further enhancing brotherly bilateral relations especially boosting the trade linkages.
