The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, in a message to H.E. Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, has extended his felicitations to the Government and people of Afghanistan on the 100th Anniversary of Independence of the country.
In his message, the Secretary General applauded the Government and people of Afghanistan for their firm commitment to achieving lasting peace, stability, reconstruction and development despite the many challenges that the country has been facing, and assured that the OIC would remain a strong partner of Afghanistan in support of these objectives.
