H.E. Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, in the region and at the regional and global levels.
In a special statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday, 28 August 2019, Al-Othaimeen asserted that the comprehensive developmental renaissance witnessed by Kuwait during the reign of H.H. Sheikh Sabah is a source of pride and glory, praising Kuwait’s active participation in all OIC-launched programs and its pivotal role in the various issues at all levels.
The OIC Secretary General congratulated the Emir, government and people of Kuwait, for the recovery of the Emir, wishing him continued good health and Kuwait and its people more security and stability.
