Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, has celebrated the 120th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid MP inaugurated a seminar on influence of Kazi Nazrul Islam in the political and cultural awakening of South Asia.
Ambassador Mosud Mannan made the keynote presentation, said the Embassy on Monday.
Deputy Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Bahodur Nazimov was present as a guest of honor.
Artist Badshe Bulbul performed several Nazrul songs at the event.
