Bangladesh has taken part at the Tourism EXPO Japan-2018 – the largest tourism fair of the world. The Bangladesh Pavilion in the exhibition was inaugurated by Rabab Fatima, the ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan on Thursday (20-09-2018) morning at the East Hall of the Big Sight, Tokyo. The fair will remain open until 23 September 2018.
Immediate after the opening, the ambassador shared her greetings and views with the Bangladeshi delegates and the visiting entrepreneurs of tourism sector of Bangladesh. The ambassador also visited different stalls of the Bangladesh pavilion.
This year in the EXPO, Bangladesh focused on the Buddhist Heritage of Bangladesh to attract Japanese tourists. The Embassy of Bangladesh is providing full support to the participating Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and other ten Bangladeshi organizations.
The Embassy of Bangladesh has invited all Bangladeshi living in Japan to visit the fair with their Japanese friends and relatives and promote the tourism sector of Bangladesh.
