US-Bangladesh expressed its commitment to building a favorable environment for bilateral trade, addressing trade barriers and promoting mutual economic growth.

Foreign Secretary Ambassador Masud Bin Momen met with the US Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Mr. Brendan Lynch this afternoon at the State Guest House Padma, where they engaged in a comprehensive discussion on various aspects of Bangladesh-US Trade Relations.

The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening economic ties between the two countries and exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration in trade and investment.

Both sides expressed their commitment to fostering a conducive environment for bilateral trade, addressing trade barriers, and promoting mutual economic growth.

Asst USTR Lynch is visiting Bangladesh with a 5-member delegation for the inter-sessional TICFA meeting.
