Today, August 25 marks the second year since the latest Rohingya refugee crisis. More than 720,000 children, women and men have fled violence that had been targeting the Rohinga community in Myanmar. The German Government continues to support the Rohingya community in their plight of survival in the refugee camps as well as the respective host communities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The German govt. has so far committed 95,5 Mio. Euro. Germany continues to engage actively together with the EU as well as the UN to help resolve the crisis.
