The High Commission of India, Dhaka is pleased to announce that a reception to celebrate the foundation day of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was held from 1800 Hrs on 9th April, 2019 at the main auditorium of the National Museum, Shahbagh, Dhaka.
HE Mr. Anisul Huq MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh H.E. Ms. Riva Ganguly Das was also present in the function. About five hundred guests including former ICCR scholars and special invitees attended the function. Some of the ICCR scholars shared their experiences of studying in India.
The highlight of the function was a spectacular cultural programme by former ICCR scholars. The notable performers include Mr. Sujit Mostafa, Mr. Shahadat Hossain Nipu, Ms. Warda Rihab, Ms. Monira Parveen, Ms. Agnes Rachel Perris, Ms. Munmun Anmed, Mr. Anisul Islam Hero, Ms. Tamanna Rehman, etc.
