U.S Ambassador visits US-Bangladesh joint exercise

US Ambassador in Bangladesh Mr Earl Robert Miller on Monday (24-06-2019) visited The ongoing 06 days long joint exercise titled “Exercise Pacific Angel-2019-1”, in Lalmonirhat, between Bangladesh Air Force and US Pacific Air Force.

US Ambassador was cordially received by Air Officer Commanding of Bangladesh Air Force Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam, BSP, nswc, afwc, psc.

During the visit, US Ambassador witnessed the Healthcare Camp at Kadamtola High School in Lalmonirhat. He also visited different schools which were under renovation works. He exchanged greetings with the teachers and students of those schools.

He also thanked Bangladesh Air Force and all concerned organizations for whole hearted participation in the exercise. The teachers and other dignatories, involved with the exercise, highly appreciated various activities of BAF and US Pacific Air Force.

Mentionable that in the exercise, local people living adjacent to the BAF Maintenance and Care Unit, Lalmonirhat are being provided with free medical treatment along with knowledge on post disaster medical care. Besides, the engineers from both the countries are providing assistance in renovating and repairing of damaged and weak structure of selected 05 schools of that area.
