The 11th parliamentary elections of Bangladesh will be held on December 30 instead of December 23.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda on Monday announced that the 11th parliamentary elections will be held on December 30 instead of December 23.

He came up with the announcement while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) fair hosted by the Election Commission at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre here.
The last date for submission of nomination papers is November 28, he said.
KM Nurul Huda on Sunday said they would take the decision on Monday whether the schedule for the 11th parliamentary elections will be deferred or not.
On November 8, the CEC announced that the 11th parliamentary elections will be held on December 23 and the last date for submission of nomination papers is November 19.
