There will be no green transition without a blue transition, so it must be a pillar of Africa-Europe relations – MNE João Gomes Cravinho at the High Level Dialogue.

The Governments of the Union of Comoros, Seychelles, and Portugal, as well as the Africa-Europe Foundation, with the support of the African Union Commission and the European Union, have organized a High -Level Policy Dialogue on Ocean Governance and Blue Economy at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

While addressing at program Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal João Gomes Cravinho said, The Oceans agenda is both part of History and a priority dimension for our future. There will be no green transition without a blue transition. That’s why we have to make it a pillar of Africa-Europe relations.

A full room at the high-level dialogue co-organized by Portugal, Comoros, Seychelles, and the Africa-Europe Foundation. Financing, science, job creation, and youth were discussed as elements to strengthen the Africa-Europe partnership on blue economy issues.
